I am a former traffic engineer living in Chelmsford, MA.

I was a University of Massachusetts Amherst Transportation Engineering graduate student through late June 2015 holding a 3.9 GPA and will receive my degree shortly after final email communications. I have taken many classes in Transportation Engineering as well as other aspects of Civil Engineering while here. In addition to my coursework, I worked on research about measuring the effect of deflection angles at roundabout approaches on ...
Jon is an excellent tutor. Jon helped me work through a couple of problem sets for my MBA Statistics course and he was extremely knowledgeable yet also very patient. Jon takes the time to explain concepts using real life examples, and he is careful to make sure you fully understand the material before moving on. I would definitely recommend Jon to anyone looking for a knowledgeable tutor that is responsive, flexible and patient.

I was a whole chapter behind in Algebra II in school. In just a couple hours, I was able to fully understand how radicals work, imaginary numbers, adding and subtracting radicals, cubic roots, and applying them to graphs. Jon was extremely helpful and patient if I didn't fully understand a concept. Overall, he has already helped me feel confident in catching up and excelling in the subject.

When my son changed schools, we found out that he was behind in math. So my 11th grade son found himself in Integrated Algebra (Algebra I) with 9th graders. To make matters worse, he came into the school mid-year, missing the beginning lessons. He was embarrassed to let on that he was lost in class and couldn't catch-up on his own. He has had two tutoring sessions with Jon, and his attitude towards Algebra has changed. He is very impressed that Jon, who is so intelligent, can break down a problem to a level that he can understand. Yesterday, Jon explained what the Latin algebraic math phrases meant in plain English. My son felt like a light bulb went on in his head, and was finally able to better understand the problems. He says that Jon is an excellent tutor who he can relate to and learn from. My son is now excited about learning Algebra in school, and looks forward to his tutoring sessions with Jon. He also says Jon is an awesome person! Thank you, Jon!

Thank you for helping me with my electrical engineering homework. I'm hoping it will help me for my exam. I am still a little nervous about it because there is so much to know and that I am not sure of. If I need help in the future I will definitely get in touch with you. Thanks again!
