Title: Swim Instructor Needed at Livermore Blue Dolphins in Livermore, CA
As a Swim Instructor at Livermore Blue Dolphins, you will lead swimming programs and give both individual and group lessons to children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, have strong communication skills, and can motivate young swimmers while teaching them to love and respect the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team in Livermore, CA.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment
• Assess student progress and offer feedback and guidance as necessary
Requirements
• Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledgeable in water safety and survival skills
• Hold CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and teaching skills
• Effective behavior management abilities
• Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• A genuine passion for swimming and working with children
